Space North East teamed up with Travis Perkins to take the Coffee Space van on the road, visiting every Travis Perkins site across the North East. The initiative was designed to spark honest conversations about men’s mental health within the construction and trades industries, where stigma and silence too often hold men back from speaking up.
Through a simple cup of coffee and a safe, relaxed space to talk, Space North East helped break down barriers, build connections, and show that strength comes from opening up, not bottling it in. This partnership continues to champion a healthier, more supportive culture for men across the region’s workforce.
Since this partnership was established, Space North East have distributed over 5000 toolkits to men across the North East, offering practical guidance and tips to support themselves with their mental health, including signposting guidance.
